Rising UK talent Dyslecta arrives on Scuffed Recordings with three new hybrid UK techno tracks, backed with a heavyweight remix from Henzo.

The Yorkshire-born, London-based DJ and producer has been building momentum in recent years with EPs on Out Of Sorts and APE-X, and mixes on Rinse FM, Kindred, and Balamii. Backed by DJ appearances at Corsica Studios, Pickle Factory, and The Cause, Dyslecta has marked himself out as one of the capital’s most exciting young DJs.

On his ‘Eating Woodlice’ EP, Dyslecta continues his artistic growth with three tracks exploring different BPM ranges and production techniques, fused by his love of techno and other UK dance music genres.

Describing the EP as being ‘testament to what you can do with the most limited amount of samples and kit’, the release sees Dyslecta unifying a broad range of production techniques while maintaining a recognisable sonic backbone throughout.

Rounding off the EP is Manchester’s Henzo with his pulsating ‘Permission to Leave’ mix of Eating Woodlice.
